Entry Number 7: When You’re Afraid Of Failure And Regret

A lot of people are afraid of failure because it leads to regret.

You might regret trying something and feeling embarrassed.
Or choosing a different path and realising it wasn’t for you.
Or saying how you feel and losing something you had.

But can I tell you something?

Failure isn’t usually what stays with you.
Sometimes, it leads you somewhere better.
You learn. You understand yourself more.
You meet something you wouldn’t have otherwise.
What hurts more is quitting…
And wondering what could’ve happened if you didn’t.

Failure still means you tried.
Giving up feels different.
Not because it’s wrong… Sometimes quitting is necessary.
But when something mattered to you,
the question isn’t “Why did I fail?”
It’s “What if I didn’t stop?”

And only one of those can be answered.

☆ Failure can still lead you somewhere
☆ Quitting leaves questions behind

Sometimes, failing is kinder to yourself than giving up. (˘︶˘)
