Sometimes there’s this feeling that we don’t belong anywhere. Not with friends, not at home with family… Nowhere (。ᵕ ◞ _◟)
It’s this painful disconnect you have with everyone else, feeling like you don’t belong, and sometimes feeling like you don’t deserve to belong at all.
So let’s take a moment to think about what “home” really means to you. Maybe it’s a place of emotional safety, where you can just be yourself. Perhaps it’s a place where you don’t have to prove anything to be loved. Or maybe it’s just a place to rest when things get heavy and there’s nowhere else to go. We all define “home” differently, but the longing for it is all the same.
But can I tell you something? .✦ ݁˖
You didn’t survive alone by accident. You’re still here after being bruised and worn down, after falling and standing up again just to face another day all because your mind becomes a space where you can be yourself, your soul doesn’t need you to prove anything to be alive, and solitude turns into a place where you can rest because when everything else fell apart, you try to keep yourself intact.
What I’m saying is that if you’re still here, still trying, still fighting, then something in you is already holding yourself together.
You’ve done more for yourself than you think, and for that, I believe you’ve been home for a while now (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
