Sometimes, there’s this feeling that we don’t belong anywhere.
Not with friends, not even with family… nowhere. It’s a painful disconnect — feeling like you don’t belong, and sometimes like you don’t deserve to belong at all (´-﹏-`)
☆ Feeling disconnected doesn’t mean you’re unworthy
So let’s think about what “home” really means. Maybe it’s emotional safety, where you can be yourself. Maybe it’s a place where you don’t have to prove anything to be loved. Or maybe it’s just somewhere to rest when things get heavy.
We all define “home” differently, but the longing for it is the same.
☆ Home can be safety, acceptance, or simply rest
But can I tell you something?
You didn’t survive all of this by accident. You’re still here — after being worn down, after falling and standing up again — because somewhere along the way, you became a place where you can be yourself, where you don’t need to prove anything, and where you can still rest even when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
☆ You’ve been there for yourself more than you realiseIf you’re still here, still trying, still fighting, then something in you is already holding you together. And maybe… you’ve been home for longer than you think (≧▽≦)
