We tend to associate feeling lost with failure. If you’re not achieving anything, it starts to feel like you can’t achieve anything at all.
And then the guilt starts. You call yourself useless, tell yourself you’re doing life wrong, like you’re behind everyone else — like everyone has a future except you (´;ω;`)
☆ Feeling lost can make you doubt your entire future
But can I tell you something?
Eery moment spent tearing yourself down is time taken away from healing and moving forward. Your journey feels stagnant not because you’re useless or lazy, but because you start believing that you are. But it’s not your fault for not seeing your future. The unknown is terrifying — you can’t see what’s ahead, your path feels dark, and every step feels wrong. It’s like a huge maze. Some turns will be dead ends, but staying still means you’ll never see an end at all.
☆ Staying still feels safer, but it keeps you stuck
So don’t be afraid to take the wrong turns. Get lost in the maze. Every failed attempt brings you closer to understanding what you’re searching for. Even if it doesn’t end the way you hoped, it doesn’t mean it was pointless. It may take years…but I hope you don’t keep hating yourself along the way.
You’ve made it this far. That already says more than you think ^^
